Resurrection Pastor’s Church Slapped By Fine Of R87 500 By The Ministries

Pastor Shepherd Bushiri is so renowned not just in the country, but all overall the world and in news because of his church. It is has been imposed with an R87 500 fine because of the illegal construction of a mega-church.

The construction work of the 10,000-seater church has been started in Midrand in December 2015 by The Enlightened Christian Gathering, known as a part of the pastor’s network of business and church ventures. As per the local people, Gauteng department of agriculture and rural development, everything wasn’t planned and not consulted, hence complained. As consultation along with the permission is very important before the construction started because it is a part of an environmental impact assessment, but resurrection pastor church wasn’t constructed as per the norms.

The department sent a Green Scorpion to inspect the site and to know more about the fake pastor and his intentions to construct the church. As per the current report ECG had not submitted an environmental impact assessment, or other sorts of environmental permissions required prior to construction, hence the church is slapped with a heavy amount. Also, they say a compliance notice was issued later to the church mentioned with all instructions to cease everything with all illegal activities on the site. The church was also told by the department to complete all formalities in regards with the environmental assessments, along with other necessary formulations and public participation, before it applied for permission to build further. The church planned to go with the loophole in environmental law, which is a Section 24G rectifications, will allow the church to admit guilt and fix their damage, before recommencing the process of construction to get environmental authorisation.

Fake prophet said that the R87 500 fine levied is for unlawful commencement of activities, which could have been up to R5-million in the second stage of that 24G process.
