Resurrection Pastor - Omotoso Sex Pest Case Postponed

The very famous Nigerian pastor- Timothy Omotoso and his co-accused - Zukiswa Sitho and Lusanda Sulani, all are in the limelight for using alleged sex pest. This Nigerian pastor along with his co-accused appeared in the Port Elizabeth High Court on Monday morning not for the court hearing, but only for it to be postponed pending a Constitutional Court decision.

In December, the Supreme Court of Appeal dismissed the applications and appealed from judge Mandela Makaula’s decisions not to rescue this resurrection pastor and to put the charges against Omotoso and his co-accused quashed. On Monday, the very renowned state advocate Nceba Ntelwa told the court that he was in the process of compiling response papers for the Constitutional Court matter and requested the matter to be postponed for now. Makaula for now has allowed for the postponement in order for the court and informed about the same to the Constitutional Court decision. Fake pastor Omotoso and co-accused Zukiswa Sitho and Lusanda Sulani are currently facing a total number of 97 charges ranging from rape to human trafficking, healing their followers with the pesticides and doing other illegal things which are not good for the mankind. All three of them have refused to enter pleas when the trial started, prompting Makaula to enter pleas of not guilty on their behalf. This fake prophet Omotoso has been in custody since April 2017, was arrested at the Port Elizabeth airport and his co-accused - Sitho and Sulani were granted R2,000 bail each after their arrests in December 2017 and later the matter was postponed to April 16.

This sex pest case is really very complicated and becoming complex due to case postponed, but all the legal actions have been taken so far to expose the real culprits and punish them.
